The Great Gatsby- Nick
Reading the first few pages of The Great Gatsby I have noticed that the character Nick is very wealthy, meaning his father can afford to send him to a year of education to learn about the bond business. He then speaks in 2nd person by saying: 'Only Gatsby, the man who gives his name to this book, was exempt from my reaction- Gatsby, who represented everything for which I have an affected scorn.
He seems like the type of person where status is very important to him, for example he couldn't stand Gatsby but futhur on he admits to Gatsby to have turnt out alright, meaning things could be forgotten.
